Under new legislation it is compulsory for all homes being sold or rented to have a Building Energy Rating (BER) Certificate. DCE will carry out BER assessments on homes of various types and sizes and will provide the client with a BER Certificate and an Advisory Report in a timely manner. The advisory Report will help identify how the energy performance of the home can be improved. Upon completion of the BER assessment, DCE shall submit a BER data file concerning the property in question to the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).
